Are you a Foundation Member? We are bringing our members another River Raisin National Battlefield Park Foundation event for Members Only! Join us as we celebrate the National Park Service birthday on Friday, August 25, 2023!
The National Park service was created on August 25, 1916 when President Woodrow Wilson signed the National Park Service Act. The event begins at 6 PM and ends by 8 PM. We will have some National Park Service Themed activities. Campfire stories by Ranger Joseph Dowd. Participate in National Park trivia in the theater. Walk through to see the progress in the Education Center including the new traditional trap exhibits that were funded in 2022 by the Inaugural Tomahawk Challenge Fund a Need Fundraiser. You can also shop the River Raisin Trade Depot gift shop with your 10% member discount. And with every member event, there will be snacks and door prizes!
