City of Monroe Community Design Workshop for former Hy Property

Live near the former Hy Property? The City wants to hear from you. 
The City of Monroe is creating a Neighborhood Development Plan for the 142-acre former Hy Property site, located north of the privately owned property at the end of East Lorain and extending north to the Frenchtown Township line.
The goal is to reimagine the site for future uses that *could* include housing, green space, non-motorized trail connections and small-scale neighborhood commercial amenities.
Feedback from residents who live near the property is especially important as planning moves forward, but all community members are welcome to participate.
