River Raisin National Battlefield Park will host a special evening program,A Ranger’s Campfire

Battlefield Site Pavilion, located at 1403 E. Elm Ave.
In celebration of the 110th birthday of the National Park Service, this family-friendly event offers visitors an opportunity to experience a traditional NPS campfire gathering program, featuring stories of the ranger service, classic campfire songs, and the history of America’s national parks.
The schedule of events includes two opportunities to attend:
- 7 p.m. – Campfire Lighting
- 8 p.m. – Ranger Program (First Program)
- 9 p.m. – Ranger Program (Second Program)
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating around the campfire. The event is free and open to the public.
