SATURDAY, JANUARY 17, 2026
River Raisin Battles Commemoration
River Raisin National Battlefield Park, partnering with the Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield and the River Raisin NPB Foundation, will be hosting events commemorating the 213th Anniversary of the Battles of the River Raisin on January 17th, 2026 from 10:00am until 3:00pm: Programs include a tactical demonstration by the Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield, a wreath-laying ceremony by the National Park Service, and various educational programs in the River Raisin Battlefield Education Center.
The schedule is as follows:
10:00 a.m. Flag Raisin Ceremony
11:30 a.m. Tactical Demonstration presented by the Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield.
12:00 p.m. Wreath Laying Ceremony presented by the National Park Service
2:00pm Theater Program
