Collector Bob Heskett will be on hand to share the stories of the clergy who were experienced religious leaders dedicated to serving soldiers and their families. Topics will include land patterns\, housing\, relations with Native Americans\, dress\, farming\, food\, education\, and folklore. \nRalph Naveaux writes\, “People tend to dismiss our early history as irrelevant in the modern world\, but it’s not.  The story of the French and Indians who lived here at the beginning of the 19th century can empower our sense of place and belonging today.” \nThe presentation begins at 1:00 p.m. and will last about an hour.
